From startup to standout, the Inbox Monster brand grows up—well, kind of.
Striking the right balance of professional and playful for a growing inbox analytics company.
As a fast-growing startup in the email deliverability space, Inbox Monster had solid traction—but their brand visuals weren’t keeping up. They needed an evolved, full brand identity—not simply a logo design—that could match their trajectory, communicate their value clearly, and signal top possible prospects, partners, and investors that they were a serious contender in their space.

The goal: evolve without losing the heart.
This began with refining the existing, but minimal logo and color system—retaining and improving recognizable elements (the inbox monster) while introducing more polish and consistency. From there, a full brand identity system was built out. Including…but not limited to…new brand colors, typography standards, custom icons, and a library of flexible templates for marketing, social, and sales to use.

We also explored the lighter side of the brand.
With a name like Inbox Monster, there was room to lean into playful, personality-rich moments—think social media graphics, playful holiday monster icon variations, and branded conference and giveaway swag that would leave a monster impression. We were intentional about balancing fun with credibility, making sure the brand felt confident but never stiff. We wanted this monster to have a playful yet strong voice!
After the brand identity evolution, Inbox Monster looked the part of a leader. And they were ready to grow and expand the company.
This wasn’t just a visual upgrade—it was a strategic evolution to support their next phase of growth. And as the client put it (see below), we pushed beyond what they expected, challenged assumptions, and delivered on every deadline along the way.
We brought Jason in to help us take Inbox Monster to the next level. As a fast-growing startup, our offerings and services had outgrown our brand and visuals, and he was charged with guiding our next steps.
He approached each part of the process with great explanations of why we would or wouldn’t make certain decisions. He also pushed our brains a little bit outside of where we thought we were going, and that made the results even better.
Jason (Robinson) also met or exceeded all of the deadlines that were set up at the beginning of the project. Very excited for where we are now and with our plan to work together and extend our brand even more…”
